Be authentically you.
Kleine Powell returned to the studio where it all started — and brought the whole journey with her.
There's something about going back to where it all began.
For Kleine Powell, that place is home…the studio floors she grew up on, the mirrors she danced in front of long before anyone knew her name, the community that shaped her into the performer she is today. And recently, Kleine made her way back, not just to visit, but to pour in.
We walked around the studio, reminisced on moments that seemed so small years ago but now are core memories…talked about old routines and felt all the emotions. Im so proud of Kleine and feel so grateful that she cares enough to continue to pour into the next generation of dancers. “ Kaylee Harrison Monroe
Known as a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader, Kleine has lived the kind of dream that young dancers draw on their notebooks and whisper to themselves before bed. But what she brought back to her hometown wasn't a highlight reel — it was something far more valuable. She came back with her whole self.
Through workshops and one-on-one mentorship, Kleine spent time with the next generation of dancers in the very space that once held her own dreams. And the thread running through every conversation, every correction, every moment? Be authentically you.
In an industry that can pull you in a thousand directions — toward what's trending, what's expected, what "they" want to see — Kleine's message was a steady reminder to come back to yourself. To trust the thing that makes you you. To follow your heart even when the path isn't perfectly mapped out.
It's easy to look at someone living their dream and assume the road was straight. It never is. But what Kleine modeled for these dancers is that the journey is worth it — and that staying true to who you are isn't a liability in this industry. It's your greatest asset.
To every dancer who got to be in that room: you were seen, you were poured into, and you were reminded that your story matters.
And to Kleine — thank you for coming home. 🖤
