Our Story

The Force Dance Academy was born in 2013, when two lifelong dance friends, Kaylee Harrison Monroe and Lucy Stewart, decided to follow a simple but powerful dream: to create a place where people could come together to dance, grow, and have fun. What started as a small, one-room studio with just four dancers quickly blossomed into something much more. From the very beginning, we were driven by the desire to build not only technical dancers, but well-rounded individuals, fostering both creativity and confidence in every student.

In the heart of Madison County, within our current building, we created a space students could dream. As word spread and our community grew, we were honored to serve hundreds of dancers from Madison and surrounding counties, all while maintaining a nurturing environment that emphasized education, passion, and camaraderie.

Our faculty, a talented group of individuals with diverse backgrounds in both the arts and athletics, share a deep commitment to inspiring the youth of Kentucky. Each teacher brings their own unique energy, dedication, and expertise to our studio, making sure that every dancer feels valued, challenged, and empowered.

Today, we proudly call a 2-story, 8-room facility our home, providing ample space for our growing dance family. From the first steps of our journey to where we stand now, The Force continues to evolve—our dreams expanding, our visions limitless. The legacy of The Force began in 2013, and we are more excited than ever to see what the future holds. Magic happens here, and we invite you to be a part of it.
